About Debbie Reinhardt

Welcome! My name is Debbie Reinhardt and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience in the field, working with young adults, adults and seniors. I received my BA, with a double major in psychology and communication arts, from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and graduated with my MSSW with a concentration in therapy/mental health from the University of Texas at Arlington. Additionally, I obtained my graduate certification in mediation-civil and family law from SMU.

I aim to provide a safe space for conversations of all types to support my clients achieve their goals. Each person, couple, or family has unique stories that need to be told and processed. I would love to help my clients find strength and healing that can lead to wonderful life experiences in the present and their futures.

Working with families/couples/individuals is truly a privilege for me. I know that it’s not easy to come to therapy, and have great respect for those that have the courage to address their problems.

I have worked in many different areas: hospice & palliative care, gerontology, medical, psychiatric, mental health & counseling, faith based, psychotherapy, and private practice.

I work from a strength-based approach and enjoy supporting my clients on their personal journeys. I believe offering a safe space to decompress life stress, identifying skills and strengths, as well as having a trusted confidant can offer peace of mind and healing. Life can be difficult, confusing, and wonderful all at the same time.

My counseling approach is holistic, dynamic and straightforward. I collaborate with my clients to create a safe space that allows for deep exploration and growth. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques including Psychodynamic Therapy.

While we cannot necessarily change the tides of life, we can learn to respond to them in a healthy manner and improve our navigation.
